Eradicus (Part 8)

As Eradicus slowly pulled the trigger to end Legion's suffering once and for all, out of absolutely nowhere a sniper bullet pierced through Eradicus's shielding and going through his right arm, sending him out of control and face-planting into the ground behind him, dropping the Retina at a moment's notice.

Eradicus: GAAAAHHHH!!! *Falls onto the ground, slowly bleeding dark red blood* RAGGGHHH!! MAWLR!! SNIPER! *Grabs his Retina and cloaks into camouflage*

Legion: *Hearing sniper fire from a distance, combining that with the movement and dissipation of the Rifle's lasers, Legion heard Eradicus growl in pain and screaming to MAWLR about the sniper that shot at him, revealing that he wasn't alone in this fight against the General and his Droid*

MAWLR: MASTER...*Prepares to fire the last 2 rockets in its pod* ENGAGING HOSTILE

Legion: That's it you bastard! *Keeps the shield up, watching the 2 last rockets fire in an act of vengeance for the General, but both fail to bring down the shield. Using this moment of breathing room, Legion brought down his shield and sprinted side to side, waiting for an opening in MAWLR'S defenses to fight off the last rockets*

MAWLR: *As if the Droid began to panic, it attempted to track the cyborg's movements, firing its primary machine gun at him to no avail. As it was reloading the rockets for its pod, Legion jumped to the side of a rock, leaping into the air and firing one of the tubes off toward it. The shimmer happens again, with the rocket exploding on impact bringing down MAWLR's shielding coverage*

Legion: *As he continued going through the air, he held the launcher with one hand again and grabbed a hold onto one of MAWLR's pods, using the Droid as a Jungle gym. In a desperate act to shake him off, MAWLR shook and stomped around its general area, even firing off its weapons to no avail. Eventually Legion used this momentum to go on top of the droid, pointing the launcher downwards at the droid's roof, planning to shoot it at point blank range* This is going to hurt!!

MAWLR: *As it felt Legion on top of it, MAWLR's armor began to shimmer up towards where Legion pointed. He fired the rocket at the very moment it did so, causing the explosion to happen at his feet and forcing MAWLR to stumble around like the hulking, shaken giant it was. Legion began flying through the air again, holstering the launcher onto his back and taking out the Magnum pistol stored in thigh compartment*

Legion: HERE WE GO AGAAAAAAAIN!!! *He shouted as he grabbed a hold of MAWLR's lower rocket launcher again, using the momentum from his fall to fly past MAWLR's front, firing his Magnum at the Droid's optics and radar dish. Visually, it did barely anything to its critical systems, but to MAWLR, it was getting incredibly agitated*

MAWLR: *Quickly, it stopped Legion's flying spree by swatting him out of the air with its machine gun again,  slamming him into the snow below. He grunted, shaking it off immediately as MAWLR was distracted by the rounds it received, attempting to revitalize its visuals back to 100%* MASTER, REQUESTING ASSISTANCE.

In the meantime, Legion made a run for the nearest cover, out of the sight of both MAWLR and the General's prying eyes.
